What the renewal is
The ECUDecoder licence renewal (ECU Decoder / ASC) extends by 12 months software updates, new ECUs and technical support. Activation takes place on the USB dongle you already own: no reinstallation, no new licence, no downtime.

Who it is for
For those who already have an ECUDecoder licence active or expired and wants to keep receiving updates and support. Without renewal the software remains usable in the last installed version, but gets no new ECUs or support: on recent platforms (MD1, MG1, Euro 6) that is where the news arrives.
How it works
- Order the renewal quoting the dongle serial number (found in the software’s licence window).
- Powerise activates the 12 months on your dongle.
- Open ECUDecoder with the dongle inserted and an Internet connection: the update starts by itself.
Frequently asked questions
My licence expired a while ago: can I renew?
Yes. The renewal starts from the activation date, not from the previous expiry.
Do I need to reinstall the software?
No: everything stays as it is, the dongle is re-enabled and the update downloads what is new.
Can I move the licence to another PC?
Yes: the licence is on the dongle. It works on any compatible Windows PC, one at a time.
